Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven received her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is currently an Attending at Jacobi Hospital Pediatric Dental residency program.

“Dr. Lisa” was born and primarily raised in New York City, but traveled the world at a young age with her diplomatic parents. She speaks four languages and has spent time in Belgium, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Gabon, and Thailand.

Along with traveling, “Dr. Lisa” loves silly jokes and songs. She is patient and takes the time to make children and parents feel at ease in the dental environment.

Dr. Kimia Ahmadian

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kimia Ahmadian is a dedicated and compassionate pediatric dentist who is committed to providing an excellent oral care and a positive dental experience for the youngest members of our community. She received her DMD from LECOM School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Jacobi Hospital in New York City where she is also an Attending. Through her intensive hospital-based training with a wide range of complex cases, she acquired skillsets to address dental needs of every child, including children with special health care needs.

Dr. Kimia believes that children’s first encounters with dentistry can shape their perception of oral health for life. Her approach is centered around creating a warm, welcoming, and child-friendly environment where kids can feel comfortable and at ease. She takes the time to build trust, explain procedures, and empowers young patients by involving them in their treatment decisions so that each child feels heard and valued. Her goal is to nurture young smiles and educate families to take charge of their children’s dental well-being. In her free time, Dr. Kimia enjoys cooking different recipes, hiking and traveling with her husband.

Dr. Marika Chikvashvili

Orthodontist

A native New Yorker, Dr. Marika Chikvashvili graduated Cum Laude from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in pursuit of becoming an Orthodontist. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at The Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. While studying dentistry, she also had a desire to give back to those in need, and participated in multiple outreach missions to deliver dental care to underserved communities. One such outreach involved spending two weeks at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, working with the Oglala Sioux tribe.

Unwavering in her interest in Orthodontics, she furthered her education by completing a three-year Specialty Residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. During that time she was the recipient of the Leo Sreebny award for the best post-graduate research work on “The Deviated Nasal Septum and its Effect on the Development of the Jaws”.

Dr. Marika has practiced orthodontics in communities around New York City and Long Island. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients and is always furthering her knowledge of new state of the art technologies and orthodontic treatment modalities. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics.
